International Day of Peace

The aptly named Pax Romano gets the credit for pointing out that today is the International Day of Peace. I probably should have heard about it someplace else, but it's funny (or not so funny) how Peace doesn't get much play in our media.

Remember the moment of silence at noon today; save your lungpower for Saturday in DC.

TBL did your ancestors come from France? It would explain a lot about you. Have fun in Washington while the rest of America is helping out with Hurricane Rita. I wonder how much coverage you think you'll be getting noone cares about Cindy Sheethead anymore. She and those that follow her are what I call media whores.

Dear Alan, When logic and proportion have fallen sloppy dead and the white knight is talking backwards and the red queen's off with her head, remember what the dormouse said.
