Disruptive Business Plan of the Day

Here's a simple business plan I offer without charge to all. If you see anyone doing this with his or her thumb on the side of the road, they are politely requesting a FreeUber ride -- no app or credit card required.

FreeUber won't cost the rider anything and it won't put any currency in your pocket (though it may put credits in your karmic account); it won't help anyone's bottom line, but it could hurt the bottom line of some high-flying arrogant businessfolk, which is reason enough to bring back the thumb as a means of transportation for a new era, isn't it?

Anger Translation is Even Funnier with French Subtitles!

Le traducteur de colère d'Obama a fait un tabac by LeHuffPost

While more entertaining with subtitles, LeHuffPost did cut out some of Luther's best lines --  and President Obama's hilarious performance from Saturday night deserves to be seen in its entirety -- so here's the C-Span video:

Luther (Keegan-Michael Key) doesn't appear behind the President's podium until the 14 minute mark, but don't skip ahead. The speech is filled with gems like this one that you'll find at 1 minute and 40 seconds into this 20-minute speech:
"... I am determined to make the most of every moment I have left. After the mid-term elections, my advisors asked me, 'Mr. President, do you have a bucket list?' And I said, 'Well, I have something that rhymes with bucket list.' Take executive action on immigration? Bucket! New climate regulations? Bucket! It's the right thing to do. ..."
After that, you won't be able to stop listening.

Monsanto to frightened children: "We'll save you from those nasty bees (and the President who enables them)."

Obviously these bees at today's annual White House Easter Egg Roll are the fault of Barack and/or Michelle Obama and they need to be wiped out by Monsanto's magical and profitable insect-eradicating wonder chemicals:

"They sting and they're scary!" yells a little girl at the 11-second mark, obviously having been raised on all the valuable informational materials available from the ABEA, America's Bee Elimination Association.
