Here's my confession. I feel awful because I've had these banners and buttons on my blog for months and I DO think it's important for everyone to speak up about this awful war as often and in as many ways as possible, but I can't be down there on Saturday (except in spirit). If it's any consolation, I will be listening to the Dalai Lama speak on War, Peace, and Reconcilation on Sunday morning at Rutgers, so peace will play a role in my weekend plans, but, believe me, I would love to be marching within yelling distance of the White House. HAVE FUN!
Well, I don't want to make you feel badly, TBL, but I was at the rally today and everyone was talking about how you blew it off. I stuck up for you, but it was tough slogging.
You missed a great rally, and if you had said you were coming, we could have maybe met up.
Don't feel bad at all TBL, but don't miss the next one. I blew off a bunch of stuff to be there and have been in the weeds every since, BUT, I would not have traded it for anything.
